Down Syndrome Welfare Clubs
We were continuously implemented many extension service programs and counselling events since 1996 in many urban areas. Later we realised that many children with Down syndrome were not able to participate. In order to reach the underprivileged people with Down syndrome the best strategy is to establish Down Syndrome welfare clubs in many places of the country. It is possible to establish one or two welfare clubs in each Divisional Secretariat, depending on the geographical situation of the divisional secretariat area.
Jinendhi Resource Centre for Down Syndrome, request interested persons or organizations to contact us to assist this project. May be in your child’s name to serve the others / name of your organization to assist Underprivileged people with Down Syndrome in rural areas.
